New Year inspiration as Strength and Conditioning Zone comes to Eccles


Eccles Leisure Centre will launch a new state of the art Strength and Conditioning Zone on Saturday 9th January, with a free session giving those looking to take their training to the next level in 2016 a chance to create their own personalised fitness plan.

Now the largest gym in Salford, the Eccles centre will also boast a new indoor conditioning track, the first in the city. Members old and new can work towards their fitness goals with a 114 station gym, a new spin zone with 20 bikes and classes including the Les Mills BODYPUMP, BODYBALANCE and GRIT sessions.

The launch event on 9th January is a chance to come along and work with an instuctor to create a personalised fitness plan for the New Year. The new strength and conditioning zone boasts the best in free weights and functional rig and power racks – the very same equipment used by the England Rugby Union team!”. And there is still the centre’s 25 metre swimming pool where, each week, hundreds of local swimmers keep fit and active.
