An elderly woman was rescued from her bedroom after fire broke out at a flat in Eccles.
An ambulance and three fire crews from Eccles, Agecroft and Stretford were dispatched to Millers Street in Patricroft at 9.15am on Thursday 14 January.
They rescued the woman, who is understood to be in her 70s, from the first-floor bedroom of the block of flats.
She was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to Salford Royal hospital as a precaution.
Her injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.

In a joint operation with Public Health England, fire crews are offering free ‘Safe and Well’ visits to vulnerable people across Salford.
Local firefighters meet with residents to offer advice and help on cold homes, preventing slips and falls for the elderly, flu jabs and social isolation.
