Salford administrators save 26 jobs with Rotalac sale

A Salford accountancy and audit firm has helped save 26 jobs at Manchester manufacturer Rotalac after selling the business to a rival company.

Wythenshawe-based Rotalac provides plastic injection and moulding for a number of industries worldwide, including in the aerospace, medical and automotive sectors.

Alan Coleman and Julie Webster of Royce Peeling Green Limited, based in Trinity, Salford, were appointed joint administrators of Rotalac on 19 January 2016.

They concluded the sale of the business to St Helens plastics manufacturing firm Coral Products.

Commenting on the sale Alan Coleman said: “I’m pleased to be able to save this long-established manufacturing business, which also secures the future of some 26 employees.”
