Langworthy Road in Salford was closed after a crash between an ambulance and a BMW.
The driver of the car was cut from the wreckage by fire crews.
He suffered injuries to his neck and was taken to Salford Royal hospital.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at 11am today, Saturday 30 January.
The man’s injuries are not considered to be life threatening.
