Barbara Keeley, MP for Worsley and Eccles South, has congratulated staff and year 6 pupils at Mesne Lea Primary School in Walkden for being ranked among the best schools in the country.
Every single year 6 pupil at the school achieved level 4B or above in reading and maths and level 4 or above in writing.
Mesne Lea Primary School is now in the top 200 schools out of nearly 16,000 across the country.
