A young boy was found choking and not breathing at an address in Eccles this afternoon, Greater Manchester Police have confirmed.
Paramedics were called to the scene, on Irlam Avenue, at 4.23pm.
Luckily a first-aid trained person was nearby at the time and managed to get the boy, who is believed to be two years old, breathing again.
North West Ambulance sent rapid response ambulance to the house.
As of 4.40pm police had left but ambulance crews were still at the scene.
