Paul Dennett was selected by local members in a meeting held in Salford this afternoon (Saturday 13th February 2016) to be Labour’s candidate for the Salford Mayoral election.
Paul Dennett, Labour’s Salford Mayoral candidate, said:
“I’m delighted to be selected by local members to be Labour’s candidate for Salford Mayor. I will always be a strong voice for Salford.
“I have a vision for the city that involves growth, jobs and opportunities for local people. I will work with the Greater Manchester Mayor, business and community partners to attract investment and development to Salford.
“The Tories are failing local people. I will always speak up for a better and fairer Salford and prioritise the hardworking families here.”
