An unlucky driver crashed outside Swinton Police Station last night.
Around 9:30pm officers heard a ‘loud bang’ and ran outside to investigate.
Outside they found a blue Volkswagen Caddy with a 30-year-old driver inside who had crashed into a lamppost, the driver was not injured.
Greater Manchester Police tweeted a picture last night to say he had been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after ‘smelling like a dray horse and struggling to stand’.
No further details have been released.
