50 Lendlease staff make Salford Quay West office switch

The construction arm of property firm Lendlease has opened new 3,450 sq ft offices on Salford Quays.

50 staff have taken up positions at the Quay West office building, over the water from The Lowry Theatre.

Back in 2000, Lendlease worked on the £67m building project to construct The Lowry and now their UK Regions North Office will be based just 500 yards away.

The listed property company is headquartered in Sydney, Australia.

They join tenants including Campus Living Villages, who own student tower blocks in Salford, and took a nine-year lease on 2,600 sq ft back in 2013.

Simon Gorski, executive general manager of UK Regions for Lendlease, said: “Lendlease has a strong heritage in the North and we are proud of the longstanding relationships we have with clients and supply chain partners in the region.

“We are looking forward to continuing our support for clients undertaking construction projects in cities like Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds.”

Key clients for Lendlease in the north over the last 10 years include the Peel Group – owner of the Quay West building – Allied London Properties, M&G Real Estate, Bruntwood, Lancashire County Council, Liverpool Vision, Manchester Children’s University Hospitals NHS Trust and Warrington Retail Partnership.
