Free spaces available at Rio Ferdinand Foundation


The Rio Ferdinand Foundation is currently offering free spaces on an accredited Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership including a second free qualification in Equality and Diversity.

This opportunity is in partnership with Active Communities Network and the 5 day course will take place on the 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th of April from 9-5pm.

The course will be held at Salford Sports Village, 325 Littleton Road, Salford, M7 3NQ

Just to give you a bit of background – The Level 2 Award in Community Sports Leadership and the Equality and Diversity course are nationally recognised qualifications that will enable successful learners to lead groups of people in sport/activity, under indirect supervision.

Theses qualifications teach generic leadership skills such as organisation, planning, communication and teamwork through the medium of sport. With a systematic approach to implementing good equality and diversity practice. Essential for any young person interested in delivering sports related activities.

All learners must be aged 16-25
