Salford weather: Fine and sunny with clear skies before turning colder

Salford will see sunshine and warm weather today before temperatures drop later in the week.

Across the city this morning it’s mild with clear blue skies throughout.

Maximum temperatures are expected to be around 14°C.

Elsewhere, it’s been a misty, foggy start in some western areas, and cloudy in the south, but skies across Saford will be clear with sunny spells.

Forecasters expect Monday to be the only fully sunny day in Salford, so get out and enjoy it while you can.

Tonight patchy cloud will move overhead and will stay arond for much of the night.

It will feel cold with a slight wind chill, and even a low frost developing in more rural areas. Minimum Temperature 3 °C.

For the rest of the week, Tuesday is expected to to mostly cloudy throughout with the odd spot of light rain or drizle on higher ground. Maximum Temperature 12 °C.

Later in the week, Wednesday to Friday should remain settled, if cloudy at times, with a little light rain or drizzle, but some brighter spells too. Brief frosts can be expected overnight as temperatures dip towards freezing.
