Fire crews were forced to extinguish a blaze which was started deliberately in Peel Green, Eccles this morning.
At 3.20am on Friday 18 March crews from Eccles and Stretford were called to Cardwell Road, near the AJ Bell Stadium.
They found three wheelie bins well alight in a front garden.
If left to burn the fire could have easily spread to the front door of the house.
Luckily no-one was reported injured by the fire
Greater Manchester Police have launched an investigation into the fire.
