Police have released CCTV footage of a man and woman audaciously stealing from a Manchester store in broad daylight.
The pair walked into a branch of the Holland and Barrett health food store on Market Street on 6 April and pretended to look at the shelves while one stole cash from unmanned tills.
Having snatched £150, they walked calmly back out the main entrance.
The woman’s face is clearly visible on the video.
The first offender is described as male, between 27 and 30 years old, around 6ft tall, with slim athletic build. He was wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jeans, a dark cap and was carrying a grey Puma rucksack.
The second offender is described as female, white, early to mid-20s, around 5ft 5in tall and of medium build. She was wearing a high ponytail, black and white leggings and a furry brown gillet.
Constable Kat Brophy said: “We are hopeful that the public can really assist with this investigation, as the pictures are of good quality and we hope that someone will recognise one or both of them.
“They are completely brazen, walking into a busy store in the middle of the day and even speaking to a member of staff before forcing open a till at the back of shop.
“Luckily they did not get away with much, but theft is theft and we hope that the public can help us bring this pair to justice.”
