Health bosses are asking residents to find the right service to help with any medical issues.
A spokesman for Salford Clinical Commissioning Group said: “Salford residents need not panic as there are other parts of the NHS open during this period.
“A first port of call should always be to call NHS 111.
“NHS 111 is a simple, freephone (be it from a landline or a mobile) non-emergency phone number for Salford residents to call when they require urgent medical advice.
“It’s available 24-hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
“Callers will get helpful advice from trained NHS medical staff and directed to the right service, which could be a GP out-of-hours service, pharmacy, GP practice or A&E.”
GP out-of-hours services will be open to Salford residents over both Bank Holidays from 6.30pm on Friday 29 April until 8am on Tuesday 3 May 2016, and 6.30pm on Friday 27 May until 8.00am on Tuesday 31 May 2016.
The service can be accessed by dialling 111 and you will be directed through.
