Salford local election results


The results of Salford’s local elections have been announced.

The political makeup of the council remains the same – 51 Labour – 8 Conservative and 1 Independent.

50,256 votes were cast – 30% of the electorate turned out to vote.

The count was carried out at the AJ Bell Stadium.
