Shortly before 7pm on Saturday 9th April 2016 a fight involving around 6-8 people broke out inside The Sawyers Arms pub on Deansgate, during which a 20-year-old man was hit with a glass. He was taken to hospital where he was treated for multiple lacerations to his face.
Officers have launched an investigation and have released CCTV images of four men they want to speak to as potential witnesses to the incident.
Detective Constable Gary Kelly of Manchester city centre borough said: “The victim is fortunate not to have sustained a more serious injury to his eye, after receiving a cut to his eyelid.
“We are keen to trace the men in the CCTV, as they may have witnessed the incident and could hold vital information to help the investigation.
“If you recognise the men or you are one of the men pictured, please get in touch with police
“If you were in the pub at the time and saw what happened I would urge you to contact officers.”
