Part of Oxford Road will be closed to traffic next week for three weeks whilst the University of Manchester get under way with the redevelopment of one of their campus buildings.
From the early hours of Monday 16 May to Monday 6 June, Oxford Road will be closed between Booth Street East & West and Brunswick Street.
Road users are advised to allow more time for their journeys on and around Oxford Road as diversion routes will be in place.
The following bus services will also be running on diversion routes around the closure:
· 15, 18, 38, 41, 42, 42A, 43, 44, 53, 111, 142, 143, 147, 191, 197, X41, X57 and night services 42, 43, 142 and 143.
For passengers using these services, information will be posted at affected bus stops. More detailed information about the bus diversions is available on the TfGM website.
Diversions will be clearly signposted for drivers.
