Police in Lancashire are calling for help in tracing a man with links to Salford who could help with enquiries over a high-value drugs bust.
Daniel Munro is described as white, 5ft 10in tall, of a medium build and hazel-coloured eyes.
He has a distinctive one-inch scar near his right ear.
The public are being warned not to approach Munro if he is spotted locally but to call police on 101.
A large quantity of high purity cocaine was seized in a drugs bust on a house in Preesall, two miles north of Blackpool, in December 2015.
Munro is aware he is wanted and officers say he has been “actively trying to avoid” police.
His last known address was on Douglas Avenue in Stalmine but he is also known to have links to Blackpool, Fleetwood, Over Wyre, Salford and Cumbria.
DS David Priest said: “We need to speak to Munro in relation to the drugs discovery and I am asking for assistance from local communities to help us track him down.
“We know he has been actively trying to avoid us but my advice to Munro would be to hand himself in at his nearest station as we are committed to finding him.
“If you have seen him or know where he is, please make contact with us as soon as possible. I would urge the public not to approach him but to ring the police.”
Anyone with information that could assist can call police on 101 quoting incident reference LC-20151230-0570, alternatively call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111 or online at Crimestoppers-uk.org.
