Drivers are seeing long queues on the M60 in Salford this afternoon after an accident closed one lane.
There were no injuries in the accident, believed to be a bump between two vehicles just before the M61 interchange at J14, Swinton.
There is queueing traffic on the clockwise carriageway from J13 at Worsley all the way back to J7 at Stretford.
Drivers are also reporting knock-on delays on the M62 back to J11 for Birchwood.
The Highways Agency say drivers should expect delays of up to 40 minutes above and beyond their normal journey time.
