The weather forecast for the weekend isn’t looking to good with showers expected over the area, however its the Queen’s 90th birthday amongst other things and here are our suggestions for things to do.

Makers Market – Saturday 11 June – 10:00 to 16:00

The Makers Markets lands in Eccles transforming Church Street into a hub of creativity and a haven for food lovers. On offer the crème de la crème of Northern treats alongside art, modern craft and Vintage stalls.

There will be live music performances and a street food arena, making this a date you simply can’t miss.

Queen’s Birthday Party – Saturday 12 June 2016 – 12pm – 4pm

A special birthday celebration is being held at Irlam train station this Saturday to celebrate the Queen’s 90th, lots of fun with BBQ, community groups, and fun for all the family.

Picnic in the Park – Sunday 12 June – 12:00 to 16:00

Come on down and join in at Eccles Recreation Ground, this is something completely new and tasty for Eccles.

Bring a family picnic, dress-up as the Queen , bring your corgi and join Friends of Eccles Recreation Ground for party in the park, includes children’s fancy dress competition, music and majesty!

Queen’s 90th Birthday party
– Sunday 12 June 2016 -11:00 to 16:00

Sunday 12 June is the climax of the Queen’s 90th birthday celebrations. Come and celebrate at ‘Celebration on the Green for the Queen’, a fantastic family fun day on Roe Green by the play park.

There will be a special celebratory service at Roe Green Church at 11am which the whole community is invited to attend. And then we will be celebrating on the green with loads of family fun for you with lots of local businesses.

Charity Car Boot -Sunday 12 June 2016 – 10am – 2pm

Call in at Little Hulton Community Centre and pick up a bargain at their ever popular car boot sale, bargains galore to be found.
