Suspected domestic abusers, thieves and burglars have been arrested by police in Salford in a week-long crackdown on wanted offenders.
150 officers have joined forces as part of the operation, codenamed Olympus, and police in Salford report that over 20 people have been brought in over the past three days.
The offences include domestic-related common assault, breaching bail, burglary, ABH, and knife possession.
Police are tweeting updates using the hashtag #OpOlympus and the force is expected to release more details of the offenders once the operation is completed on Friday 26 June.
Greater Manchester Police’s Superintendent Craig Thompson said: “This operation is all about targeting those criminals who cause the most harm to innocent members of the community.
“The safety of our residents is paramount and we will make sure that during this week of action, there will be nowhere to hide for those who think that criminality is acceptable.
“We will be using every resource available to find these criminals in and bring them to justice for their crimes.”
