Friends ofLight Oaks Park Summer Family Fun Day are hosting a Summer Family Fun Day on Saturday, 13 August from 1pm until 4pm in Lightoaks Park.
The event will also be the official launch of the Friends Group and where community members can sign up to officially become a ‘Friend’ of the park.
To enable the event to go ahead and run smoothly, they are looking for a team of volunteers to help in the following areas:-
People to bake a cake for the Friends of Lightoaks Park fundraiser cake stall.
People to steward on the day (which will include some people setting up and taking down tables, chairs, gazebos etc) – 11am-5pm and you will be fully briefed before the event
People to help do a litter pick clean up the evening/morning before the event so the park is looking it’s best
