A man has been left with a broken jaw and severe injuries to his face after being attacked by a gang of thugs near Deansgate Locks in Manchester.
After leaving Sakura bar on Tuesday 2 June at around 4am, the 28-year-old was stood on the opposite side of the road near Deansgate train station, with with two friends age 21 and 22.
They were approached by a group of five black men, a white women, and two white men, one of whom who suddenly attacked and punched the 28-year-old before escaping the scene on foot.
Police have now released dramatic footage of the attack in a bid to catch the offenders.
PC Paul Eastham said: “This was a vicious assualt that left one man with serious facial injuries and in a lot of pain. It appears the assault was completely unprovoked and I would ask anyone who may recognise those in the images to contact us as soon as possible.”
One of the black men was wearing a dark sleveless top with a check pattern over a lighter coloured shirt, the woman had blonde hair in a pony tail, and one of the white men wore a hooded top with a two-tone coloured hood.
