Drivers are being warned to expect delays around the Junction 11 M60 roundabout in Peel Green, Eccles after a smash between an articulated lorry and a car.
The accident happened in wet driving conditions on the anti-clockwise carriagewat at the slip road heading towards Eccles.
Patrols from the North West Motorway Police spotted the crash at aroun 12.05pm today, Friday 19 August.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed the crash was between a blue articulated tipper truck and a silver Honda Jazz.
The A57 Liverpool Road is currently partially blocked near Peel Green Cemetery from Irlam in the direction of Eccles.
No-one is thought to have been seriously injured.
As of 12.30pm congestion is running all the way back to Junction 17 of the M60.
