The Red Devils have confirmed that George Griffin will join fellow First Utility Super League side Wakefield Wildcats on a month’s loan.
The youngest of the Griffin brothers at the club, George joined the Red Devils last December from now Championship side London Broncos and also previously played for Hull KR.He played alongside older brothers, Darrell and Josh in Salford’s pre-season game against Swinton Lions and also played against Dewsbury Rams and Hunslet Hawks.
Head Coach Iestyn Harris said, “George has trained really hard and has a really good attitude. It’s important that he gets the chance to play some first team football and by going on loan to Wakefield Wildcats he’ll get this at the highest level.”
