Police are appealing for information after man suffered severe injuries after being hit by a car in Salford.
Just after 9.30pm on Wednesday 7 September police were called to Bury New Road, near to the junction with Cavendish Road, to reports of a smash between a Ford Explorer 4×4 and pedestrian.
The man suffered life-threatening injuries.
He remains in hospital in a serious condition.
An investigation has been launched and police are now appealing for witnesses.
Sergeant Brian Orr, of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This collision has left a man with life threatening injuries and he remains in a serious condition in hospital.
“I would like to appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and has information about what happened to contact the police.”
