Businesses in England and Wales can register online with the Valuation Office Agency (VOA) to get a reminder when the Valuation Office Agency publishes draft rateable values this autumn.
The VOA is currently updating the rateable values of all non-domestic properties in England and Wales. Your local authority will use these new rateable values to calculate business rates bills for 2017-18. Failure to check your details may result in you paying an incorrect amount in business rates.
Over 150,000 businesses have already signed up to receive a reminder in the autumn, letting them know the draft rateable values are online.
