Basil Brush is very much looking forward to being the star attraction of Winter Wonderland this year which takes place from Saturday, 10 December 2016 to Monday, 1 January 2017 at EventCity next to the Intu Trafford Centre in Manchester.
Manchester’s biggest Indoor Christmas attraction, EventCity will be transformed in to an unbelievable wonderland extravaganza.
Basil is bringing his Full on Fox show which he has been touring the UK with this year. Come and see naughty uncontrollable Basil, along with his chum Mr Matt who will together take you on a journey of laughter and song, in a show packed with fun and excitement. A show for all the family, come and join in the mayhem.
He explained: “I’m looking forward to bringing my show to Winter Wonderland and hearing the boys and girls shouting ‘boom boom’ very loudly. They can also join me on stage and win a prize.
“But it’s not just for the boys and girls – there’s plenty of jokes for the mums and dads, nudge nudge, wink wink…! It’s a 4D experience – you may get very wet!”
Winner of the Best Family Day Out at the Raring 2 Go Awards 2015, Winter Wonderland Manchester 2016 offers a dazzling array of colourful shows including an exciting new addition for 2016 – a Christmas pantomime – Cinderella, a brand new Sci-Fi show and spectacular Christmas Circus.
But Basil is mostly looking forward to the theme park rides. There will be over 50 family rides and attractions all under one roof – including new rides for 2016 featuring a giant carousel, and all included in one ticket price.
And of course, Christmas would not be complete without visiting Santa Claus. And this year, Santa is inviting all the children to come and visit him in his house which he has transported all the way from the North Pole!
You can walk through all his rooms including his bedroom where he swaps his red suit for his PJs! And for an extra £3.50 he will throw in a little gift too! Don’t forget to stop and say hi to the real reindeer, not forgetting Rudolph of course!
Plus, if you are still pining for the summer, make your way over to Salty Cove and build a sandcastle with Pip from Pip Ahoy! or take a break and relax in a deck chair on the promenade.
There will also be a whole host of games stalls and a vast array of food and drinks stalls to purchase refreshments including hot snacks and sweet treats.

He said: “On Christmas day, I’ll be enjoying my day off with a Good King Wenceslas pizza and a Jacuzzi. I’m going to eat a can of baked beans and let nature take its course…!”
