A man was abducted and forced to board a train in Manchester.
Shortly before 7.30pm on Thursday 3 June 2015 the victim was walking on Market Street towards and, as he reached the Jessops shop, two men came up behind him. One of the men grabbed him and threatened him, before they dragged him through the city centre to Victoria train station. Once there they threatened him with violence and forced him to get on a train to Wigan, where they demanded he take them to a house.
Police have charged one man in connection with this incident and are currently trying to locate a second man they want to speak to.
He is described as white and was wearing an Adidas tracksuit and had sunglasses on his head.
Detective Constable Kelly-Anne Featherstone of City Centre division said: “I want to ask anyone who witnessed this incident to come forward. It happened in a busy shopping area in broad daylight, so there may well be passers-by who witnessed what happened.
“The victim was wearing a red coloured beanie hat and a black jumper with a large picture of Ironman on the front, which is quite distinctive and I’m hoping may jog someone’s memory who may have seen them.
“I would also urge you to look at the CCTV image and if you recognise the man on the left, to contact police.
“One man has been charged in connection with this incident, but we are keen to catch the other man involved, so if you did see what happened then please call us immediately.”
