Summer is just about with us, so why not get out and about and see the latest attractions in Salford this weekend, plenty to choose from and plenty of family fun.

Tearing Stuff Apart – Saturday 18 July – 11am – 4pm

Join artists and environmentalists from Tearing Stuff Apart for their celebration camp in the meadow at Kersal Dale for an afternoon of alternative arts, activities, and sharing food. If you are curious and looking for something completely different this Saturday, why not explore this eco friendly event.

Time to gather look back, reflect, celebrate our journey together and think the present and the future.

Worsley Summer Fete – Saturday 18 July – 12am – 4pm

Craft stalls, performers, artists, childrens activities, tea, cakes, refreshments and loads more for all the family.

Boatfest – Saturday 18 – Sunday 19 July – 12pm – 9pm.

Call in at the Boathouse pub in Irlam for a two day music festival with over 25 live music bands and entertainment for all the family including street food, drinks, childrens entertainment and something for everyone.

Duke’s Drive Festival – Sunday 19 July – 2pm – 7pm

Get along to Duke’s Drive at Monton Green, Eccles for live music, historical characters, food and a feast of free family activities including fun with knots, mini-beast hunting and oppourtunities for den building.

Broughton Fire Station Open Day – Sunday 19 July – 11am – 4pm.

Call in at Broughton Fire Station on Bury New Road and have a fun time with Welliphant, rides, climb aboard a fire engine, refreshments and lots more.
