Getting your children to brush their teeth can be a nightmare for parents, in fact a new survey saw 80% of parents say their children get angry and throw major temper tantrums when it comes to brushtime.
These statistics were revealed in a report commissioned by Aquafresh to celebrate the release of Disney∙Pixar’s ‘Inside Out’ in cinemas out now. Disney∙Pixar’s ‘Inside Out’ is based in Headquarters, inside 11-year old Riley’s mind. Like all of us Riley is guided by her emotions, Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness, the voices inside her head, as they advise her through everyday life. These emotions and more are also experienced by children and their parents during brushtime.
The report also revealed that one in 10 parents admit that they actually send their children to bed without brushing their teeth. As tooth care is such a vital aspect of life for growing children it is important that they are encouraged to have clean teeth and see brushing as a positive and exciting activity to do in the morning and before bed.
