Residents are being warned to expect delays after two lanes were closed on the M62 eastbound between Junction 11 and 12 due to an accident between two HGV’s.
The accident happened at around 2.20pm this afternoon, Tuesday 24 March.
It has been reported that there has been no injuries to the people in either vehicle.
The Highways Agency has been sending out tweets to keep people informed:
“We’ve reduced our closure to just 1 lane M62 East Bound J11 to J12. Hoping to have the scene clear soon. Will keep you updated”.
