Earlier this week SalfordOnline.com held a competition for one lucky reader to win a pair of tickets to see progressive rock pioneer Ian Anderson aka Jethro Tull at The Lowry, Salford on Monday 14 September.

As you can imagine we were innundated with entries, sadly there could only be one winner.
The first name out of our fabled lucky hat was – Mike Rowe from Eccles.
“I can’t believe that I have won the tickets, I thought that I had no chance. said Mike.
“Ian Anderson is a great favourite of mine and I have all the Jethro Tull albums.
“This has really made my day I am still pinching myself.
“I shall probably be taking a good friend of mine Craig with me, he is really into his music, so it looks like we are in for a great night of music, many thanks”.
