Police closed Camp Street in Lower Broughton last night after a crash between a car and a scooter.
At around 5pm on Monday 17 August paramedics and police were called to the scene, near the old Carlton pub.
They found a grey Vauxhall Zafira and a black Yamaha scooter had collided.
North West Ambulance Service confirmed they had received multiple calls from concerned members of the public.
A man in his 20s was taken to Salford Royal Hospital for assessment.
Greater Manchester Police said the man was lucky to escape serious injury.
There have been no arrests.
