Police are on the scene of an accident on the M602 this morning.
Traffic officers were called to the scene at 10.35am to reports a Citroen C5 crashed into the central reservation.
The crash, which happened on the westbound carriageway between Junction 2 at Gilda Brook Road, and Junction 1 heading towards the Eccles Interchange, is causing long delays for drivers.
Two lanes have been closed and there is queuing traffic heading out of Manchester.
The driver of the Citroen has been taken to Salford Royal Hospital for assessment but there are not through to be any major injuries.
Drivers are advised to avoid the scene if possible.
