The man was found outside a house on Armitage Grove at around 1.05pm on Friday 27 March.
He had suffered a severe head injury and a number of broken bones after apparently being hit in the face and head with a brick.
Up to nine emergency vehicles raced to the small cul-de-sac near the Little Hulton Morrisons to reports of an altercation between a number of men and women which is thought to have stemmed from a neighbour dispute.
The North West Air Ambulance was also scrambled to the scene and tried to land near the residential street.
The man was taken by road ambulance to Royal Bolton Hospital under a police escort where he has recovered well from his injuries.
Two other people also hurt in the incident were taken to Salford Royal Hospital as a precaution.
Three women and one man were originally arrested on suspicion of causing violent disorder.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed this morning that six people have now been arrested and bailed to reappear before police in late April.
A 21-year-old woman and a 23-year-old woman have been bailed until 23 April, a 52-year-old man, a 52-year-old woman and a 26-year-old woman have been bailed until 24 April and a 40-year-old man has been bailed until 25 April.
