A cordon was put in place around Eccles bus station this evening after a report of an assault.
Police were called to Church Street in Eccles at 9pm tonight, Monday 30 March.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester said when officers arrived on the scene the suspected victim did not want to make a complaint and so no crime was recorded.
The scene has now been closed and police are not investigating any further.
Buses from the station should be running as normal by Tuesday morning.
