SalfordOnline.com readers captured some amazing shots of the supermoon over Salford last night.
From 3.10am to 4.25am on Monday 28 September the moon appeared to glow red as the Earth crossed its path in the skies.
It was the first lunar eclipse visible over the UK for 30 years.
The weather was mostly clear, allowing even those with mobile phone cameras to take incredibly clear shots of the moon in all its glory.
On Twitter, astronomer and broadcaster @PeoplesAstro tweeted this shot showing all the phases of the supermoon.
