An empty mid-terraced house went up in flames last night in Weaste, Salford.
Fire crews from Salford and Agecroft were called by local residents to Emerson Steet at 5.25pm Wednesday 30 September to find a fire inside the premises and smoke pouring out of the windows.
No-one was hurt and firefighters managed to contain the blaze before it spread to neighbouring homes.
Crews in breathing appartus broke their way in to the house and used water jets to extinguish the flames.
At this time it’s not known whether the fire was accidental or deliberate.
Greater Manchester Fire said enquiries were continuing.
