Chorley Road closed in Swinton after 65-year-old man hit by car

Police have closed Chorley Road in Swinton after a pedestrian was hit by a car.
A 65-year-old man has suffered a serious head injury, Greater Manchester Police said.

The accident happened at around 5.30pm near TSB, opposite Swinton Civic Centre.

Police have closed the road to traffic between the Wellington Road Civic Centre and the Bull's Head pub at the B5231 Station Road.
