Salford Reds match preview v Widnes Viking


After last week’s fantastic display against St Helens this weekend (Sunday 3.00pm) the Reds do battle with table-topping Widnes who walloped Leeds Rhinos last week by 56-12.

Salford Red Devils head coach Ian Watson is set to stick with the squad that beat Saints, with Josh Griffin continuing at centre in the absence of the injured Junior Sau.

Widnes make just one change with Macgraff Leuluai replacing Chris Dean.

Salford’s match next week at Wigan has been brought forward a day to Thursday 24th February (kick-off 8.00pm).
