‘GMP 1 Bad Guy 0’: Little Hulton man arrested after taunting police on Facebook


A man who taunted police on Facebook saying “you’ll never catch me” has been returned to prison.

Curtis O’Brien, 26, was found hiding in a loft on Thornfield Grove in Little Hulton, according to tweets and Facebook posts by officers at GMP Salford West Division.

The post was retweeted over 300 times.

Local officers added on a post shared by over 1,200 people that O’Brien had posted messages to officers saying they’d never catch him.

O’Brien, of Crescent Drive in Little Hulton, was charged with remaining unlawfully at large after recall to prison, driving whilst disqualified and receiving stolen goods.

He has been recalled to prison and is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ court on Monday 7 March 2016.
