The body of a man was discovered on Wednesday morning in a grassed area at Agecroft Cemetery in Salford.
Police were called to Langley Road in Agecroft at 11.05am on Wednesday 18 May.
There are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances around the man’s death.
He has yet not been formally identified but his next of kin have been informed.
The man has been named locally as Stuart Fingleton, originally from Whit Lane in Salford.
A file is now being prepared for the Coroner’s office, a spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said.
