Two masked men forced their way into Sainsbury’s Local store in Salford last night and stole cash after threatening staff with crowbars.
At around 8.50pm on Wednesday 18 May two men in a black Volkswagen Golf pulled up outside the former White Horse pub on Gilda Brook Road.
They were dressed in black, with balaclavas covering their faces and armed with a crowbar each, police said.
They shouted at the lone staff member to open the till and pushed the on-duty security guard to the ground, leaving her shaken but with no lasting injuries.
