[liveblog] Join us from 10.30am on Tuesday as Marwan Koukash holds a press conference to dispel rumours of turmoil at the AJ Bell Stadium.
The mercurial and outspoken Salford Red Devils owner says he will ‘reveal the truth’ of the club’s financial standing.
It was all prompted by this Salford Star article which alleges the Super League club are in ‘financial meltdown’ with disgruntled suppliers sending in the bailiffs over unpaid bills, full-back Kevin Locke claiming he has resigned over unpaid wages, and physio staff going on strike earlier this year over unpaid wages.
The club made no official response but Koukash tweeted ‘The club is in safe hands. F*** the haters.’
