Police have launched an investigation after shots were fired at a property on a residential estate in Pendleton, Salford.
A woman and two children were inside the address at the time of the shooting but no-one was reported injured.
Police were called to Citrus Way, off Churchill Way, at 12.15am on Friday 15 July.
Damage ‘consistent with a firearms discharge’ was found to the exterior of the property.
It’s thought the front door was shot at and damaged.
Detectives are investigating possible motives for the attack.

The woman and two children inside at the time were left extremely shaken by the incident.
Councillor John Warmisham, who represents Langworthy, appealed for calm.
“This is very concerning news, escpecially when actions like this are putting children’s lives at risk,” he told SalfordOnline.com.
“The perpetrators should think before they act.
“I want to appeal for calm in the local area – it is always better to talk than to react.
“This is completely unacceptable behaviour.”
