Swinton man, 37, charged after indecent exposure on girl, 16


A man has been charged after a teenage girl was flashed in Swinton.

In the early hours of this morning, Thursday 24 September, police received reports that a man had followed a 16-year-old girl on Pendlebury Road in Swinton and indecently exposed himself.

Swinton CID arrested a man and took him in for questioning this afternoon, SalfordOnline.com reported.

Phillip Holt, 37, from Swinton, has been charged with one count of a section 4A public order offence – causing harrassment, alarm or distress, and of breaching conditions of the sex offender’s register.

He was remanded in police custody.

He is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates on Friday 25 September.

Police have not linked the incident to a serial flasher operating in Swinton, Eccles and Walkden over the past 18 months.
