Such is the stunning response we’ve had to our Autumn Colours Photo Competition that we’re extending the deadline for pictures until this Sunday.
When all the entries are in, a shortlist of the best readers’ pictures will be compiled and will go to a public vote.

Launched on Thursday 1 October, the competition seeks to highlight the beauty evident all around us in Salford.
With the city hitting national headlines for the wrong reasons this week, there is no better time to seek the positives.
Post your entries to our 13,000 member Facebook group, tag @salfordonline_insta on Instagram, tweet us @salfordonline or email your pic with the subject line ‘SalfordOnline.com Autumn Colours 2015’ to newsdesk@salfordonline.com.
Entries must have been taken by you between Saturday 1 August and Thursday 15 October 2015, anywhere within the City of Salford.
Please include a location with your pictures, if possible. If there are people in your pictures, please get their permission and name them.
The original deadline of Thursday 15 October 2015 has been extended to Sunday 18 October 2015.
The shortlisted pictures will be published on Monday 19 October 2015 and voting will close on Friday 23 October 2015.
The winner will be announced on Monday 26 October 2015.
