Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing girl from Manchester.
Marta Silvabento, aged 14, was last seen on Saturday 10 October 2014 at her home in Harpurhey. She left the house and has not been seen since.
Marta is Portuguese and is described as black, 5ft 3in tall, of medium build, with shoulder length black hair. She was last seen wearing black trousers, a black jumper, black shoes, a white shirt and a blue and yellow striped tie, carrying a black sports bag.
Police believe she may be with a 21-year-old man. They are known to frequent the city centre and have connections to the Harpurhey, Moston and Eccles areas.
Detective Sergeant Alex Wild from GMP’s North Manchester Division said: “We are becoming increasingly worried for Marta as she hasn’t been in contact for five days and we are appealing for her to get in touch so we know she is okay.
“If you recognise Marta and have seen her, please contact police in north Manchester.”
