Police have charged 15 people with a series of Class A drugs offences after raids in Salford and Eccles.

Over 200 officers were involved in the Project Gulf crackdown on Wednesday 14 October over the sale and supply of cocaine, heroin and crack cocaine in the city.

Large amounts of illegal narcotics, along with substantial amounts of cash, were recovered from properties in Pendleton and Eccles.

Detectives said the raids were the result of months of planning based on intelligence from the community about organised crime gangs.
